The goal is to find out if there is convergence between the plants and animals of the Namib Desert in Africa in comparation to the Atacama Desert in South America. The two deserts have the same geographical and climatic situation. The Namib Desert fog is formed by the Benguela current and the Atacama Desert fog is formed by the Humboldt current, both coming from Antarctica.
